Blankets
Bedding in Good Condition
Homeless and battered women's shelters are in constant need of
blankets, towels, and linen that are in decent, usable condition, as are other organizations that help low income people. Check
your local phonebook or click here to find a dropoff near you.
Here in L.A. you might try Beyond Shelter or the place I always give stuff in Santa Monica, One Voice.
Bedding in Poor Condition
If your bedding materials are stained, ratty, or otherwise not up to
human standards, an animal shelter might be a better choice. Since my
castoffs are too crummy to pass on to fellow humans, that's what I do.
