Pots and Pans
Many homeless shelters and battered women's shelters need
kitchen items for people transitioning into a new life who need to set
up a household. You may already know of such a place in your community.
If not try here.
Always call first to make sure they're not overstocked!
While I'm on the subject of cookware, I'd like to let you know about a place that recoats the non-stick coating
that has worn off. That way you can have it fixed up and not worry
about passing it on! And they do it way better than the original
makers, who just wanted it to wear out so you'd buy a new one. Now
that's a crafty recyling idea.

It happens to us all: you've got
stuff you
don't
want anymore, don't need anymore, or never liked to begin with. Whether
you're motivated by a natural sense
of thrift, an environmental conscience, a desire to help others -- or
all three -- here are some suggestions as to what to do with many of
your unwanted items.
Hope they help!
