Pots and Pans

Many homeless shelters and battered women's shelters need kitchen items for people transitioning into a new life who need to set up a household. You may already know of such a place in your community. If not try here.

Always call first to make sure they're not overstocked!

While I'm on the subject of cookware, I'd like to let you know about a place that recoats the non-stick coating that has worn off. That way you can have it fixed up and not worry about passing it on! And they do it way better than the original makers, who just wanted it to wear out so you'd buy a new one. Now that's a crafty recyling idea.
