Suggest A Link

So you want to suggest a link to SYDW? That's great! Odds are, you are performing an important environmental or social function. Thank you for your efforts!

Here is what you need:

1. A Web page that I can link to. This page must list the items you are seeking.

2. Easily accessible contact information. If someone clicks to your site from this one, will they be able to easily assess who to contact to start the donation process? This is key.

3. An ongoing need. I do not list short term drives for items. It's too hard to keep track of outdated links.

4. The page on SYDW you want to be listed on. If your organization collects prom dresses, for example, tell me you want to be listed on the prom dress page. If you work for a shelter or similar organization that has catch-all needs -- like blankets, toiletries, pots and pans, suits, books and whatever -- your best bet is the shelter page which I link to from several pages.

Tips:

*You have a much better chance of being listed if you have a very specific need. Collecting prom dresses and accessories for the underprivileged is a perfect example of this.

*You have a much better chance of being listed if you have an organization with many chapters, especially if it fills a very specific need. I love being able to cover a whole category with a single link!
